Al via la selezione dei progetti e dei fotografi che faranno parte del Circuito del Festival dal 23 settembre al 24 ottobre 2010.
Il tema della IX edizione di FotoGrafia è Futurspectives. La fotografia può prevedere il futuro? A partire dal rapporto complesso e controverso tra la fotografia e il dato reale, Futurspectives propone una ricognizione sui futuri possibili: dell’uomo, della natura e della fotografia stessa. Non più soltanto un modo per testimoniare ciò che è stato, la fotografia può essere anche un dispositivo per immaginare il futuro. Per visualizzarlo di fronte ai nostri occhi, prefigurandolo o esorcizzandolo.
Per partecipare alla selezione bisognerà inviare alla mail info.za@palaexpo.it i seguenti materiali:
. un breve testo di presentazione del progetto (max 1 cartella)
. una biografia (o cv) dell'autore (max 2 cartelle)
. max 10 fotografie del progetto (bassa risoluzione x mail)
La proposte dovranno includere l'indicazione di una location già disponibile ad esporre la mostra all'interno del periodo su indicato e dovranno pervenire entro e non oltre il giorno giovedì 24 giugno 2010.

The selection of projects and photographers that will take part in the Festival’s Circuit from September 23rd to October 24th 2010 has now begun.
The subject of the 9th edition of FotoGrafia is Futurspectives; Can photography predict the future? Starting from the complex and controversial relationship between photography and reality, Futurspectives propose a reconnaissance into possible futures for humankind, nature and photography itself. No longer just a way of bearing witness to what has been, photography can also be a means for imagining the future, to physically see it, prefiguring or exorcising it.
To participate in the selection please send the following material by email to info.za@palaexpo.it
. a short presentation of the project (max 1 page)
. a biography (or resumé/CV) of the artist (max 2 pages)
. max 10 photographs of the project (low resolution for email)
Proposals must include information on an available location for holding an exhibition within the aforementioned timeframe and must be received before, and no later than, Thursday June 24th 2010.
